Duck ID passwords expire automatically every 180 days. Our system will e-mail you a reminder notice seven business days before your password expires.
Changing your password may require more work than selecting a new password. Some programs store your e-mail password for your convenience. When you change your password, you need to update any program that has your old password saved. Programs that often store your password are e-mail programs (like Eudora and Outlook Express) and modem dial-in software, which is part of your computer's operating system.

Requesting a Password Change Via Fax
If you live out of the area or are unable to come to campus
to request a change, you can use our fax form to make a password change request.
Print out our Password Change Request Form (available online at http://cc.uoregon.edu/password/fax_request.html),
attach your UO photo ID card where indicated, and fax it to Information
Services at 541-346-6836. These requests are processed once a day, each
business day.
