Windows XP Off-Campus (modem)
Introductory Information
This document will guide you through
the steps necessary to connect your home computer to the University of Oregon
network and subsequently to the Internet.
If Windows prompts you to restart, refuse that request so that you can complete
the steps outlined here with the least amount of interruption. Once these steps
are complete, we may ask you to restart if it is necessary. You may also find
that previewing and/or printing the steps out in advance will make the process
easier to follow. You may be required to have the Windows XP
CD-ROM on hand to complete the tasks outlined here.
