1) Select "Airport" from the Apple menu. Click on the triangle icon next to "Settings" to reveal all settings.
2) Select "uowireless" from the "Choose
Network:" menu.
3) Select "Open TCP/IP..." from the "File" menu.
4) Select "AirPort" in the "Connect Via:" drop down
within
the TCP/IP control panel, then close this control panel.
5) Open a web browser. If the following screen does not appear automaticallly, type "uowireless.uoregon.edu" into the "Location:" or "Address:" field.
6) Type your UO Computing Center email address into the "Username:" field, and corresponding email address password into the "Password:" field. Note that this must be your Gladstone, Darkwing, or Oregon email address.
7) If authentication succeeds, you will see the SUCCESSFUL message:
9) After authentication, you can open any network program you like (i.e. email), or click on your web browser's home button to start using the browser.
